Love Island 'isn't to blame' for Mike Thalassitis' death - Olivia Attwood

Olivia Attwood has said that their movie titled  Love Island is not in any way a contributīng factor to his co-actor  Mike Thalassitis  death. Mike starred alongside Olivia in series three of the ITV2 dating show – the pair were locked in a bit of a love triangle with Olivia’s ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes on the show and didn’t stay in touch when the series wrapped. Footballer Mike was found dead in woodland near his Essex home on Saturday morning. Police confirmed the reality star took his own life and after news broke of his death, tributes poured in for Mike from both fans and fellow stars. Love Island bosses have since confirmed that they are making changes to the show and have outlined new safeguarding plans for the islanders that take part, following Mike’s death and Sophie Gradon’s death last year. A brilliant young Nigerian lady is being celebrated for her achievement at Ahmadu Bello University. The young lady identified as A'eesha Humayrah Abaji graduated as the best medical student in the university. The lady who hails from Obi local government area of Nassarawa state has officially become a medical doctor. Abaji who graduated as the best student also bagged nine awards. One of her admirers identified as Shehu Umar celebrated her on his Facebook page.  The Facebook user noted that he hopes her achievement would inspire young ladies across Nigeria to acquire their education. AKSU DECLARES MONDAY 20TH LECTURE FREE,URGES STUDENT TO GET PVC

The Management of Akwa Ibom State University has directed that Monday, the 20th of August 2018 be observed as a  lecture-free day , in other to give students ample time to take part in the ongoing Voters Registration Exercise. To this end, students are enjoined to locate the nearest INEC registration centre closest to where they reside, register and obtain their Permanent Voters Card (PVC), without which they will not be able to vote for their candidates of choice in the 2019 Nigeria's General election. Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission had extended the 2018 Voters’ registration exercise by 2 weeks. The implication of this is that exercise which was supposed to end on August 17th will now run till  August 31st 2018 . Higher Institutions Football League (HIFL) begins across Nigeria

All plans are put in place as the maiden edition of the  Higher Institutions Football League  (HIFL) scheduled to hold across university campuses in Nigeria begins soon. Games in the league are on track to begin on the 28th of July, 2018 as planned. President of the Nigerian University Games Association (NUGA),  Professor Stephen Hamafyelto  who made the announcement in a statement recently, assured football lovers across the country of an interesting competition as the games kick off.   We are happy we are finally kicking off the games.
